VICTORY - the Texas dog recovering after nose and lips are cut off..

Texas dog recovering after nose and lips are cut off.

A dog with severe facial injuries was taken in on Friday by the non-profit rescue organization, Austin Pets Alive!
The female, mixed breed dog, dubbed "Victory," somehow survived having her lips and her nose cut from her face.
According to Austin Pets Alive!, Victory was discovered on Jan. 8, wandering alone through a Hutto, Texas, subdivision.
Since her discovery, the Hutto Animal Control has been providing Victory with care. Her injuries, however, were too severe for them to continue providing her with what she needs to fully recover.
The agency reached out to Austin Pets Alive!, which sprang into action to transfer the injured dog to their care.
Victory's veterinary expenses are expected to run into the thousands.
Anyone hoping to donate towards her care can do so by clicking this link to Austin Pets Alive!
Anyone with information on this horrific case of animal cruelty is asked to call the Williamson County Crime Stoppers at (800) 253-STOP.
There is a reward offered for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of Victory's abuser.

  2. people are so cruel.. there are no limits in what they do. I would say stay in the love and let it engulf your being and this will protect you from the horror the world wants to inflict upon us and our beautiful creatures of our world. Can see Victory is still happy dog and using those eyes and ears to make up for the loss of smell... Bless and Gods love xxx

  6. People are really f'd up. What kind of animal does this sort of thing to an innocent creature. She looks so harmless, and still ready to give love to another human being even after one has.done this horrific act of disfigurement on her What would possess a person to do such a nasty thing?. I would love to be the punisher of the animals who abuse and neglect these beautiful souls. I would do such horrific acts of justice and honestly, not feel one bit of remorse for their pain and agony. An EYE FOR AN EYE,that's what I beleive..That's why I prefer animals over humans.

  9. Oh my Goddess, I have no words, only tears for this poor, sweet, helpless baby! How could ANYBODY be so cruel to such a wonderful creature. Dogs love us unconditionally and to see them harmed so horribly just breaks my heart.

  10. I am so glad and grateful to the person(s) who found Victory and relieved she is receiving care. I just don't understand the world we live in. Tons of love to you Victory. Thank you to the caregivers that are giving her the love and attention she so desperately needs right now.

  11. Philosopher Eric Hoffer wrote: "What Monstrosities Would Walk the Street Were Some People's Faces as Unfinished as their Minds." Every single piece of excrement that does this to an innocent animal should have his or her face plastered on a GIANT POSTER with Neon Warning Lights Glittering Around it. The caption on the poster should read: BEWARE OF MONSTER HIDING BEHIND A HUMAN FACE! IF YOU COULD ONLY SEE THE CHARRED, MAGGOT-RIDDEN, EVIL SOUL BENEATH THIS BLAND MASK, YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO BE WITHIN A MILLION MILES OF IT!!!!!

  12. I want the laws changed this year! I can't stand reading about these poor tortured animals and the monsters that hurt them getting off without enough punishment! We Need these people to be punished as much as if they did this to humans! Please pray with me that these laws are changed to the fullest! Thank you.

  13. Thank you to the persons that were involved in initially and continue togive this dog love and care. They need to ban Assault Humans. just goes to show there are sick and demented weak people among us. they could just as easily have done something like this to a child. this behavior everyone knows is a marker for those who move on to people.
I'm so sorry Victory happened along and met with them. And look at what a tribute and testament to a dog esp.but so many animals resiliency and forgiveness. you can tell she's an incredible dog,but that's really just. being s dog, isn't it.
Blessings of the Goddes to u sweet girl.

  14. Make animal cruelty a felony, damn it! This story brought me to tears. I still can't comprehend why anyone would hurt a harmless animals.

  15. Anyone who is convicted of animal cruelty should face mandatory inpatient mental health treatment, and upon release community service at an animal shelter. Prison often makes these sick folks worse.

  16. What in the name of all that is holy would possess someone to do something like this to an innocent animal? What satisfaction do they possibly get? Do they really get satisfaction from hurting animals? What in the name of God goes through these people's minds to possess them to do such a thing?......the only thing I can think of is that they are possessed by satan...they would have to be...there is no other possible explanation why someone would do this. Seeing this makes me so overwhelmingly heartbreakingly sad and it makes me sicker than anyone could ever possibly imagine....
