LAVERTON KNACKERY - Animal Cruelty!

MORE than 35,000 people have signed an online petition to stop horse 'abuse' at a Laverton knackery.
The knackery was accused last month of inhumane treatment of animals. As reported by the Weekly, workers at the Leakes Road knacker's yard were secretly filmed by the Coalition for Protection of Racehorses during Melbourne Cup week.
The footage shows horses being hit on the face and one horse being shot and dragged along the ground while apparently still alive before it is shot again and has its neck slit.

  1. This is so terrible to see. It will haunt me for the rest of my days. I feel afraid to even send the link to people I know. The video is certainly not for sensitive viewers. Horrible, horrible! God have mercy!

  2. This is sickening and evil. If we don't speak up for these horses, nobody will. Shame these neanderthals and their ilk into the ground and throw them in jail. This goes on thousands and thousands of times per day on many animals. Nail these a-holes to the wall, it is sickening and barbaric.
