Due to this issue every year hundreds of thousands of animals are abandoned to shelters or the street, facing uncertain futures and the very real risk of being put down.
Encourage people to adopt from local shelters, humane society or rescue organizations.

  • STOP the Yulin Dog Slaughter!

    Mayor and Officials in Yulin

We the undersigned urge you and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government to cancel the “Dog-Meat Festival” which is held around late June in Yulin every year.
Every year at the Yulin Dog Meat festival in China it’s estimated 10,000 dogs are horrifically slaughtered.
The discussion and outrage regarding this issue from the public and media is becoming more intense, and will keep on attracting negative publicity for the region which will impact on tourism.
