Veterinarians help dog severely injured in Georgia explosion ..

Veterinarians help dog severely injured in Georgia explosion..

Kali was burned on over 50% of her body during an explosion which ripped apart the shed where she was being housed. Her screams alerted her owners, who were able to put out the fire before their house was destroyed.

  4. I feel really bad for Kali. And I wish her the speediest and painless recovery. I'm sure that no one expected this to happen and would not have intentionally wanted this. But I feel that if the owners were 100% responsible, they would not have housed in a shed that could possibly catch on fire. At least if the house caught on fire, the dog would have been saved with the rest of the family and would not gotten burned. To me, this is mild negligence, not to put salt on open wounds. But Kali's health could have been spared if her owners would have kept her in a more responsible place where they didn't have a choice but to act quickly, like in their house.

  5. Agree with Mariela 100%. Poor sweet baby! Seems like a senseless, careless act that could have been prevented. Poor, poor Angel. That picture of her says it tall. Will see what I can rustle to donate.

  6. Oh god, this is so horrible. I appreciate the vets who are helping him... May god bless them and be with them. Such humans keep my faith in humanity still intact despite of degrading acts of human race. Hats off to such real humans. You are an inspiration to many.

  8. It's too bad that so many people find out the cost to save their animal is too high and realize they can't afford it, and therefore end up putting their animal down, or walking away. The gentleman told me some horror stories where dogs, cats, or other pets had been injured and had a treatable or fixable issue that could have been solved through surgery.
