So, apparently under the Code of Practice for Pounds and Shelters all organizations are required to do health and behaviour assessments. This is to ensure that plans are in place for the phsycological wellbeing of the dog. I wonder how many dogs that have been assessed by these pounds and shelters with lovely temperaments have been killed. Maybe the government should get some facts and statistics before keeping a barbaric legislation in place that doesn't properly target non-social and aggressive dogs.......
